Composite Vs. Wood Hockey Sticks

I seen and interesting study today on composite vs wood hockey sticks. In this study they wanted to find out which stick had a harder shot. After the tests were done they concluded that both sticks while taking a shot had the same mph speed. What they didn't go in depth though was the factors in both sticks. Price, Breakage ect. Now with the wood stick they cost anywhere between $15 and $50. However after a few games the hockey stick starts to splinter and you don't get the same shot u did when i first bought the stick. With Composites The Range anywhere from a 2 piece $70 total to over $200 for a one-piece. They come with a 30 day warrenty where the wood sticks do not have a warrenty. Composites generally last anywhere from a month to a year depending on how many times you use the stick. Generally i go for the $90-$100 Composite stick because it will last longer and even if it breaks u might still be able to turn it into a two-piece. In My opinion, go with the cheaper version on the composite stick it will last longer.
